We are only a few short months away from summer, and you should start thinking about joining one of our two social groups that Semiahmoo Speech Services will be offering this July!
These interactive sessions will allow participants to meet and interact with peers to further develop communication and social awareness within a small group. They will also be able to learn and practice their communication skills in a fun and safe setting.
Using concepts from Michelle Garcia Winner’s: Thinking About YOU Thinking About ME, We Thinkers Curriculum, and other concepts from http://www.socialthinking.com , the participants will be able to develop their social thinking, problem solving, and conversational skills.
The two groups that we will be offering:
1) Adventures in Social Communication (Ages 7-9) : Flexible Thinking & Problem Solving

2) Social Skills for Tweens (Ages 10-13): Becoming Interactive and Interesting Individuals
- July 25-28, 2017

- 10-13 years old, boys and girls
