Our therapeutic social groups offer a welcoming environment for children to connect, play, and grow! Sessions are offered throughout the year, focusing on developing communication skills and fostering friendships in a small-group setting.

Semiahmoo Speech Services (SSS) is now gathering interest for our upcoming Age-Appropriate Social Groups!
We design these small, curated groups to help children practice communication skills in a natural, fun environment.
Size: 2 to 8 children per group.
Groups: 4–6 years | 7–10 years | 11+ years.
Focus: Making friends, sharing, conversation, and team play.
Match: Kids are paired by age and communication goals.
How It Works (Based on Demand)
Expressing interest places your child on our priority waiting list. Because we match children carefully based on age and specific
goals, groups launch as soon as we have enough matching participants.
How to Sign Up
If you want your child to join, please let us know:
Option 1: Speak directly with your child’s SSS therapist.
Option 2: Inform our front desk admin team.

Ages 7-10
This group helps kids build important social skills like taking turns in conversation, understanding others’ feelings, cooperating in group settings, and managing big emotions — all while making new friends and having fun!
Each session will have a different set of engaging activities like board games, arts & crafts, and obstacle courses to help kids practice these skills in a supportive and playful environment.

– Understanding social cues and body language
– Perspective taking
– Making and keeping friends
