Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant 

Amna is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Therapy. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in her home country and has nearly five years of experience working with pediatric to geriatric clients across schools, hospitals, and clinics. She also worked as a trainer and taught courses to undergraduate students and interns. She aims to complete a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and become a registered SLP in Canada.

Her clinical interests include feeding and swallowing disorders and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Committed to ongoing professional development, she holds certifications in TalkTools Oral Placement Therapy (Level 1 & 2), Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), DIR 101 Floortime, Diagnosis and Treatment of CAS using DTTC, and Basic Life Support (CPR & AED), among others.

Outside of her professional work, she is a full-time cat mom. She enjoys reading, baking, cycling and recently discovered a love for yoga.
