Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Olya is a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. She is currently completing her bachelors degree in Linguistics with a concentration in Psychology at Trinity Western University. She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology following her bachelors degree. Olya has been trained as a Behavioural Interventionist, and has been supporting children with ASD for over 4 years in individual and group settings. She has experience working with children from 5-13 years old with various communication needs. Olya’s deep hope is to care for children, making them feel supported, seen, and heard, and given the resources and tools to thrive. She believes that every child has a unique voice that she wants to help them share.
In her free time, Olya enjoys reading, crocheting, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with her family, 2 dogs and her cat, Sir Fluffinkton!”
