Semiahmoo Speech Services would like to give a very warm welcome to the newest member of our team: Speech-Language Pathologist, Arsha Shaji!
Ms. Shaji recently moved from Regina, Saskatchewan and is excited to be living in BC. She will be starting with us Tuesday, October 10 and will available after school hours on Tuesdays. In the future, Ms. Shaji will be available for speech therapy on the weekends as well. Here are a few words from Ms. Shaji about her journey thus far as a licensed SLP:
“After my graduation in 2012, I worked as a SLP for the past 5 years. Being a new parent has added a new perspective to it.
I have been fortunate to work with children and families in India, Kenya and Canada. The diverse work history has given me a breadth of knowledge to draw from.
My clinical experience over the last 5 years has focused on early intervention, speech sound delays/errors, supporting children with cleft lip and/or palate, hearing loss, Downs syndrome, Autism and other special needs, parent coaching, AAC including Makaton signing, PECS. I strive to make each session effective, fun and exciting!
I look forward to joining the experienced and energetic team at Semiahmoo Speech and make a positive contribution.”
